space can be translated through many different representations and mediums. These instances are dealing with space on various denotative and connotative levels. While ID moves through literal and subjective space, Rachel Whiteread creates representations by removing or constructing through various interpretations dealing with emotional and physical space. Both of these projects deal with the subject of space and how it is received and translated, but approach them through different methods.
